Introducing JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC at Signature Skin Care
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC is a new dermal filler available at Signature Skin Care in Edmond.
It is the first and only FDA-approved filler to correct age-related volume loss in the midface that – with optimal treatment – can deliver natural-looking results lasting up to two years.
The product is different than JUVÉDERM® XC and works on a different area of the face. JUVÉDERM® XC smoothes out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC, however, adds volume to the cheek area.
As we age, the very structure of our skin changes. Our faces are often one of the first areas of our bodies to show our age. The aging process and gravity both take a toll on our skin, especially in the facial region. Loss of volume in the cheeks can change the contours of the face and make the cheekbones much less defined.
VOLUMA™ Lifts and Lasts
While previous techniques to correct this have typically involved surgical facelifts, the arrival of VOLUMA™ XC makes this a minimally invasive solution available to Oklahoma City metro patients.
VOLUMA™ XC is the latest product from the makers of JUVÉDERM®, the long-available filler that has made a huge difference in the appearance of many of our patients. Unlike JUVÉDERM® XC, VOLUMA™ XC is specially formulated only for use in the cheek area, and is the only FDA-approved HA filler on the market to do so.
While JUVÉDERM XC corrects wrinkles and is more suitable for use around the nose and mouth, VOLUMA™ XC is meant to correct age-related volume loss in the cheeks through a deep injection technique. The subtle lift achieved with VOLUMA™ XC can make a dramatic difference. Patients surveyed in the clinical trials said they look up to 5 years younger. The best part? VOLUMA™ XC lasts up to two years.
It is a simple, nonsurgical option– but while it is a routine procedure, you want it to be performed by a VOLUMA™ XC expert. All our injections are administered by state-licensed nurses and estheticians under the supervision of Dr. Ressler.
